Beautiful day at the Train Station! Thanks to the Bloody Run Historical Society, Everett Pa volunteers for allowing us to help them preserve the engine for posterity and for all they do through the year at the Train Station!

Thanks to our little crew of Kenny Tewell, Kevin Clark, Carl Michael Sr., Don And Teresa, Dennis Buster Drenning, and Ray McCann and Leroy and John Nebel of BRHS for helping! Felt like old amphitheater days! We even had a visit from Scooter Smyers - he's in for next weekend! So 2 post hole augers rented - one semi-working; 4 very heavy and long 6x6 posts hauled to holes, raised without damage to antiquities nor bodies and then plumbed and concreted after 39 - 80 lb bags of concrete were lifted, dropped and lugged to holes. 3 corner posts done and look beautiful. Wanted to do 4, but ran into the old school foundation, so next time a jackhammer and rental of the auger again to finish the remaining 3 holes - volunteers welcome - only 15 more posts to go and then we raise the roof!!!
Big thanks to Barry Husick of Barry Husick Building and Remodeling for volunteering to deliver the stone for the job!

The roof project was completed in October, 2020.  Thanks to all the volunteers.

See the plaque at the bottom of this page.
